GMP makes significant commitment to grow its Engineering Team
Michael Cruse has recently joined Global Management Partners (GMP) as President, GMP Engineering and is supplementing the leadership team with his 44 years of experience in the design and construction of large and complex capital projects.
Michael’s passion comes from serving in leadership roles associated with the successful execution of projects from concept to completion. He is a strong advocate for rigorously applying proven gated project delivery processes to every project.
Since completing his B.S. Building Construction degree, Michael has gained extensive knowledge and experience in virtually all aspects of project execution and delivery. During his 33-year career at Ford, Bacon & Davis (FB&D), holding positions of Senior VP for Operations and Business Unit Leadership, Michael has worked in project controls, site construction management, multiple business development roles, and launching and managing a series of new engineering, procurement and construction offices. Locations included Jacksonville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Greenville, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina, and Kingsport, Tennessee. Michael has also served as a VP with Brown & Root and a Director at Jacobs with FB&D.
In 2022 when FB&D merged with a Houston based EPC, Michael joined Koch Project Solutions (KPS) as VP, Strategic Projects. When KPS was acquired by GMP, Michael joined as President of Engineering. In this new role, Michael will be leading the growth of the GMP Engineering Division while also actively supporting GMP’s growing slate of Project Management Contractor (PMC) projects.
