James (Cope) McGee
Cope is an effective and respected Construction / Project Manager with over 35 years’ experience in the EPC and CM industry, with lump sum and reimbursable project experience on multi-million / billion-dollar projects across multiple sectors including chemical, plastics, pulp & paper, Petrochemical, and refineries as well as upstream oil & gas. Senior home office execution roles are complimented by extensive field experience including multiple roles in construction, construction management, commissioning / start-up, and field engineering. Cope has built a career that spans across five countries and four continents in various site and office-based assignments. His positions and responsibilities have included: project management, project engineer, engineering manager, area lead engineer, start-up/commissioning management, risk management, project coordination, scheduling, forecasting, and proposals. Other responsibilities include pre-commissioning, home office shut-down, troubleshooting, technical support and direction, problem solving, budget development and control, personnel administration, and recruitment. Possesses a strong background in electrical distribution control and design, as well as control systems installation, migration, and execution. With many of the roles associated with executing and managing highly complex mega projects.
